Schedule of Classes
FORMAT
- We have four 10-week sessions per year, starting in January, March, June, and September.
- Pet Dog classes are open enrollment -- you do not have to wait for a session to begin. Classes are Fridays at 10:30 a.m. Call to enroll.
- The number of sessions required depends on: your own personal goals (Service Dog, Therapy Dog, or Pet Dog); how consistently you train with your dog; and your dog's willingness and trainability.
- Participants attend class once a week, and practice daily at home.
- Classes are held on weekdays, during the day. Class placement is dependent on your dog's individual needs after evaluation.
- Each class is 60-90 minutes long.
COST
The cost for each 10-week session is $50-$175, a sliding scale based on your total household income. This cost is subsidized by donations. The actual cost of training averages $625 per person for a 10-week class.
